The inclusion of games as integral part of any language syllabus provides an opportunity for intensive language practise, offers a context in which language is used meaningfully and as a means to an end, and acts as a diagnostic tool for the teacher, highlighting areas of difficulty. All discussion has tended to focus on methodological considerations, one of the most important reasons for using games is simply that they are immensely enjoyable for both teacher and student.

Teaching foreign language cannot be  imagined in dry and dull ESL vocabulary and grammar classes. English teaching class is always an opportunity for fun. During classtime there are, of course, periods of  focused concentration, especially during the first phases of the lesson  when the students are trying to grasp an initial understanding of the form and meaning of a structure. We, as teachers, should  know that even during those phases, explanations and examples can be enlivened by funny sentences using the students’ names or by fun demonstrations or pantomimes.

An educational game is an activity with rules, a goal and element of fun which is an integral part of any language syllabus.  There are two kinds of educational games: competitive games, in which players or teams race to be first to reach goal, and co-operative games, in which players or teams work together towards common goal.

Разнообразие игр, которые мы можем использовать в процессе  изучения английского языка в начальной школе, огромно. Игры дают нам возможность оправдать в действительности необоснованное для ребенка требование общаться с партнерами на английском языке; найти способы и показать значимость английских фраз, построенных по простейшим моделям; сделать эмоционально привлекательным повторение одних и тех же речевых моделей и стандартных диалогов. Не только на уроках, но и в кружках можно с успехом продолжать изучение языка с использованием игр. В нашей школе уже не первый год работает кружок английского языка «Hope».

Yozgi ta’til vaqtida bolajonlar ingliz tili darslarida yil davomida o‘rganganlarini unutmasligi va yangi so‘zlarni yodlash orqali lug‘at boyliklarini oshirishi maqsadida Xorazm viloyati Urganch tumani Chondirqiyot qishlog‘idagi 33- maktab ingliz tili o‘qituvchisi Nodira Ischanova oson va quvnoq «At the Zoo» she’rini tavsiya qiladi. Bu she’rni maktab qoshida tashkil etilgan yozgi oromgohlarda yoki hayvonot bog‘iga sayohat uyushtirganda ham yodlatish mumkin. Bu jarayonda o‘quvchilar hayvonlarning nomini ingliz tilida aytishni o‘rganadilar.

Bolalarga ingliz tilini o‘rgatishning o‘ziga xos talablari mavjud. Ularning doimo qiziqish va g‘ayrat bilan bilim olishini ta’minlash sermashaqqat ish. Bunda muallimga o‘quvchilarni rag‘batlantiradigan qiziqarli mashg‘ulotlarni o‘tkazish qo‘l keladi.
